We want you to love every handmade piece you receive. Because each item is crafted by hand, slight variations in color, texture, and finish are natural and expected — these are the hallmarks of authentic handmade work, not defects. However, if your item arrives damaged or has a structural defect, we gladly accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement.
Please email info@makersmarketindy.com within 48 hours of receiving your package with your order number and clear photos of the damage. We will work with the artisan to either craft a replacement at no cost to you or issue a full refund, including return shipping. In many cases, we may not require the damaged item to be returned.
Once we receive and inspect your returned item (or approve your refund for damaged goods), refunds are processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been initiated. Please note that your bank may take an additional 2-3 business days to post the refund to your account.
Because our artisans begin handcrafting your item quickly, orders can be cancelled free of charge within 12 hours of placement. After 12 hours, the item may already be in production. If you need to cancel after this window, contact us immediately — we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee cancellation once production has begun.
